Little Seeds
Little Seeds
Little Seeds is a dedicated learning environment for children aged 0 to 3 years.
Our unit is perfect for parents needing care and education for their little ones.
We offer flexible collection and drop-off times, between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday during Orchard Vale’s term time costing £7.10per hour.
We accept the 15 hours Working Entitlement funding.
Within Little Seeds the children’s wellbeing is paramount. We understand that each child is an individual with different needs, and that parents want to be there every step of the way. We work closely with parents to ensure that we provide a home-from-home environment, following the child’s normal home routines as closely as possible. Our highly qualified and experienced Early Years practitioners are there to support the care and development of every individual child. Our maximum of 7 children with 2 practitioners, ensures that all children get highly personalised, loving care and education.
Our dedicated learning environment is equipped with a wide range of equipment and resources, which encourage development across all areas of learning for children aged 0-3. We are proud to say that the children in our care are calm, happy and confident, and they leave us as independent, socially confident individuals.
The Early Years Practitioners encourage integration within the Nursery setting. This allows our Little Seeds to socialise and make use of the facilities within the nursery, building positive relations with the nursery staff, ensuring a seamless transition.
Our Little Seeds also have access to a fenced outdoor play area which we share with the nursery. We also pay visits to the Forest School learning facility, as well as additional school facilities such as the cookery room, music room and school hall. The children get to know the school very well.
